Wrong "node bin folder", using the windows installer #7146

@epinardscaramel

I get weird errors after installing node, even "npm faq" fails.

the "node bin location" seems wrong, there are two backslashes :

PS E:\> npm config list
registry = "https://registry.npmjs.org/"
prefix = "C:\\Users\\webdev\\AppData\\Roaming\\npm"
; node bin location = C:\Program Files\nodejs\\node.exe
; cwd = E:\
; HOME = C:\Users\webdev
; 'npm config ls -l' to show all defaults.

Can I change it ? I thought it was "prefix", but no :(

PS E:\> npm config get prefix
C:\Users\webdev\AppData\Roaming\npm
