In RC1, the position of clear text icon (X) of search input isn't at the right place when search input is in listview.

<ul data-role="listview">
<li>
<input type="search">
</li>
</ul>

When I type something in the search input, the (X) will appear but at the wrong place.

If I move search input out of the listview, everything will be normal.
It is ok in beta3.

You do not need to add an input search box inside the listview. You should be using data-filter="true" in the UL tag to enable search. Jquery Mobile does the rest for you, including the codes does all your searching and re-rendering on the list.

      Thanks for reply.
      I use it as a input box to submit query to other page.
      Therefore this way you mention didn't work for me.
      It's normal before RC1, so I think it may need fix.

      In my case, remove this line:
      .ui-li .ui-btn-text { position: relative; z-index: 1; }
      then it become normal.

      Seems like we just need to tweak our style scopes a bit. This is for a form inside a list, not a list filter, correct?

      Hi Todd,

      I can confirm that it does indeed only happen when a search input is in a listview. I'm getting the same result for my own app.

      @todd, right, it's a form inside a list, not a list filter.

      Fixes #2571, Fixes #2590, Fixes #2576 — All three issues were caused…
      … by improperly-scoped “position: relative;” on .ui-btn-text, within listviews.
