In v1.1, in Android 2.3.3, if there is a page with a long list (longer than the screen) containing a persistent navbar, very often you cannot click transition from one page to another.

You can reproduce this problem on your Android 2.3.3 device by going to http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.1.0/docs/toolbars/footer-persist-d.html and click around on the four navbar items: friends, albums, emails and info.

Very often, after going to Friends if you then click on Albums, the Albums page does not load and you don't transition from Friends.

I think this may be the same as #4069 or #4032

@douglerner

Yes, you're right. It seems to be a widely noticed issue.

At any rate, it certainly is a show-stopper preventing upgrade to v1.1. Having the UI actually work is even more important than how pretty it is. :)

Thanks,

doug

I can confirm this is still an issue with latest, (tested on the HTC Incredible Android 2.3.? from the test lab).

Update: the issue only occured after I scrolled the list first.

@arschmiz is working on a solution for several fixed toolbar issues (arschmitz@3f5a5bb#commitcomment-2046348) that might fix this issue as well.

Where do we find the fix? Is it in the form of an upgrade Jquery Mobile?

Thanks,

doug

@toddparker

This extension will ship with version 1.3. You can grab the code from master if you need it sooner.

@douglerner

Thanks. I look forward to trying it. I still haven't upgraded from 1.01 because of this. :)
