Select menu is closed after selection in iPhone 4S #6028

In 1.3.1 after choosing an element from a select the roller is closed (focus is"lost"), safari goes back to full screen not showing the "next"/"prev" buttons anymore.
This feature is ok with 1.3.0.

Platform: iPhone 4S, Safari

Sounds like a regression from the fix for #5514. That ticket has been re-opened because there are still issues, so maybe we have to look for a different solution there.
