Arbitrary data in config object #182

Hello James!
In Dojo 1.7 it is possible to store arbitrary config info. If you want to have access to it, you just need to include "require" as a dependency and in the module factory function you have the values in "require.rawConfig".
As you are also involved in the Dojo AMD loader, why does this feater not exist in requirejs?
Thanks alot
Wolfgang

Config passing has not been formalized by the AMD group, but I do think we have reached a tentative agreement in this thread:

https://groups.google.com/group/amd-implement/browse_thread/thread/fefb782bada7a383

and I outlined the config values and how "module.config" could be used to get them:

https://gist.github.com/1630091

So I'll be implementing this for 1.1. I'm hoping Dojo will do the same in a subsequent release. At the very least though it will be possible to code to allow for both the old dojo way and the module.config way.

I'll leave this ticket open for 1.1 since I don't have a formal bug yet on the new config value stuff.

This is fixed in the dev2.0 branch, will be part of the 2.0 release.
