Added:

  • Crafting recipies for new cables and relays
  • New registration system and registration helper classes for registering blocks, items, and recipes
  • New configuration handler class
  • Very basic achievement enabled - craft a 50v macerator!

Changes:

  • Dots are bigger on the nixie tubes
  • Better analytics and more control in config
  • Update URL selection in config

Removed:

  • Removed the ingame wiki. It wasn't very useful

Fixed:

  • Fixed maximum current calculation for secondary cable slot
  • Players in creative mode will no longer get stuck on top of flywheels

BREAKING CHANGES:

  • Removed Creative Cables
  • Lowered cable resistances by A LOT

Added:

  • Current (based) Cables: New cable type (creative only for debugging purposes) that allows much more current, and has no voltage limitations (for now, one will be added later based on cable insulation thickness)

  • Current Relays: Relays that can be used with Current Cables.

  • DebugType, DebugPrint: New debugging suite that allows more precise control over debugging messages, originally introduced to reduce MNA spam when in debug mode.

  • GenericCableDescriptor: A new generic class to build electrical cables from that allows for more flexibility than extending the existing ElectricalCableDescriptor which is very restrictive

  • MaterialData, MaterialProperties: New classes designed to contain constants with regards to different materials that can be used. The intent is to store information about resistivity, thermal conductivity, and some other constants for various materials, including metals, glass, and plastic. This is/will be used for the new thermal subsystem and is used for electrical conductance calculations currently.

  • ThermalLoad2.java - to be used later.

Changed:

  • Redid the entire debug logging subsystem. You can now configure what types of debug messages you want to see.
  • Balance option cablePowerFactor renamed to cableFactor to reduce confusion
  • Renamed mask constants to be full caps to make them easier to find.
  • Cleaned up Eln.java a bit.
  • Made cable rendering a bit more generic. Removed some dependencies on voltage tiers
  • Various small changes to hopefully make DC/DC converters a bit more friendly - they now require the core to be inserted and both sets of cables in order to even connect to the circuit network. Should reduce the number of NaN bugs by a lot.

Bugfixes:

  • Removed infinite loop on thermal cables being incorrectly configured
  • Various optimizations suggested by IDEA
  • Fixed rendering bug with voltage sources above 799v.
  • Text rendering problem with all machines

Custom rolled release of the Electrical Age mod for LLv10.1 See eln.ja13.org for more details.

Intents of this repository are to develop, experiment and to merge most or all of these changes into mainline Electrical Age, as they find them suitable (stable) for inclusion.

MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR WORLD!

Added:

  • microfarad support (and micro support for most other unit types)
  • Potable capacitors and capacitor packs
  • Nixie Tubes!
  • Digital Displays!
  • Dataloggers now support the "No Unit" Unit type, which shows just numbers.

Changed:

  • Updates were made to the language files. Spelling mistakes, clarifications, and other fixes included
  • German language file
  • Motor behavior is modified, less noise from shaft motors!
  • The "Haxorian Balance Patch", which modifies the balance of armor, tools, and portable batteries
  • Electrical meter information about batteries on the ground are now more useful

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed render glitches with biome colored blocks (grass, leaves) on SixNode
  • Fixed Quartz not being able to be placed on SixNode (as well as other blocks)
  • Waila coloring for SigBus cables
  • Rendering bugs with printouts of displays. They're usable now! :)

Added:

  • Shaft Motor Create shaft-power efficiently!
  • Signal Bus Cable Combine up to 16 signals in a single signal cable! Breakout of colors required, colored Signal Bus Cables are NOT supported.

Changed:

  • Updates were made to the language file. Spelling mistakes, clarifications, and other fixes included.

Bugfixes:

  • Brushes (for coloring wires) are fixed in Multiplayer servers.
  • Sound bug has been resolved, added configuration option. A value of 16 is generally good enough, but some installations with many sounds may need to reduce this number to 12, 8, or 6, depending upon the complexity and density of your devices.
  • Fixes to initial rendering problems of the mod with regards to the addition of Signal Bus Cables (LLv8 had this bug)

Removed:

  • We had to disable the language generation tool, it was more of a nuisance than a help.

Upcoming:

This is what to expect more of for LLv10 given the current plans as of release.

  • Continued updates to en_US, create en_CA, en_GB, and update pt_BR.
