control-c in cmd while running webrick rails app does not kill jruby.exe.
I have to manually kill jruby.exe everytime I am in development mode.

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/JRUBY-5323

Is there a solution now?

Still outstanding. Would be nice to finally fix this in 1.7.7.

Still exists in 1.7.8, currently I use this as a workaround on Windows with a shell environment.

alias rs="taskkill.exe -f -im jruby.exe; rm tmp/pids/server.pid; rails s"

May your guys finished this issue in the next release.

My environment is Windows 7(64bit ).
posix#chdir raises RaiseException on my environment.
I think perhaps this is one of the causes.

Issue still exists also with JRuby 1.7.11.

As far as I can see, it may be bound to the use of javaw.exe instead of java.exe.

Landing @yousuketto PR on jnr-posix does in fact seem to fix this issue. Great research! Leaving open because a new jnr-posix release is needed.
