Sinc jruby-1.7.15 the following fails
irb(main):002:0> 'test'

The same worked on jruby-1.7.13

Environment is Solaris

This is working for me, but I am using HEAD of jruby-1_7 (which will be 1.7.16). Can you try this nightly and confirm the problem has been fixed (get 1.7.16 bin dist)?

It is possible this has something to with Solaris environment but I think it was fixed a week or two ago.

Sorry. Didn't know it was so easy to access the 'next' version. I'll make sure I check that first, next time. It works fine in the 'to-be' 1.7.16. Thanks for taking time to look and reply!

Re-opening issue because I see it in the release version of 1.7.16 (and the current 1.7.17 nightly build)
