This problem only happens in 1.6.7.2, see gist: https://gist.github.com/3052569, it is working in jruby-1.6.7 and in jruby-1.7.0.preview1

Is it possible to have this fixed also in jruby-1.6.7.2?

Thanks a lot.

Actually it does not appear to be working in 1.6.7 either. However we are not doing any more releases of 1.6.x, so we can finish up JRuby 1.7. I will mark this issue closed for 1.7.

system ~/projects/jruby $ rvm jruby-1.6.7 do ruby --1.9 blah.rb
