wycliffe is a clean room implementation of the Dante protocol which delivers uncompressed, multi-channel, low-latency digital audio over a standard Ethernet network.
Dante is a trademark of Audinate Pty Ltd. This project makes no claim to be either authorized or approved by Audinate Pty Ltd. The reverse engineering of the Dante protocol doesn't appear to circumvent any protection covered under the DMCA, and is similar to the open-source efforts of the Samba project. This project is simply interested in allowing interoperability.
