v1.6.0

Today we can announce a new version.

The biggest change on the usage side is that in the future no JSXGraph versions can be loaded from CDN (which is also really unsafe). Instead, we now deliver all 34 versions. So these are stored on your server and work without external web access! You can simply select the version in the administrator menu or switch on the automatic function - this way the latest version is always used with every new filter update.

In addition, we added JSXGraph version 1.6.0.

Have fun using it!

Dear people!

Uff... After Moodle made some changes in its last version 4.2 and we had changes JSXGraph in 1.5.0, our filter had to be fundamentally adjusted.
But it's finally done! Today we can announce a new version.
The biggest change on the usage side is that in the future no JSXGraph versions can be loaded from CDN (which is also really unsafe). Instead, we now deliver all 33 versions. So these are stored on your server and work without external web access! You can simply select the version in the administrator menu or switch on the automatic function - this way the latest version is always used with every new filter update.

Because so much has changed under the hood, the status of this version is still "release candidate" as a precaution. Please report if you discover any errors. We have already tested over 70 different version combinations (https://github.com/jsxgraph/moodle-filter_jsxgraph/blob/main/tests/matrices.md). Perhaps you can add to this matrix.
If there are no more problems, the new version (which will probably be released with JSXGraph 1.6.0) will be a stable version again.

Have fun using it!
Alfred and Andreas

Release of v1.4.3-1

This new version of our filter comes with support for Moodle 4.x as well as a few minor functional improvements!

Last week we were in Valencia with the Erasmus+ project eXpert. Through the lively exchange in the team, we were able to determine that our filter actually already supports Moodle 4.x. Thankfully, our project partners then tested it on their servers.
By the way: Find out more about the eXpert project here: It is currently delivering very exciting results:

We also found out that our filter has been installed on the Mebis e-learning platform (https://www.mebis.bayern.de/). Mebis is an Internet portal of the Bavarian Ministry of Education and is available to all state, municipal and private schools in Bavaria. It is currently used by around 1.4 million people!
From now on, teachers in Mebis can activate our filter and use JSXGraph!

Another piece of information: The new version solves a minor problem with formulas. If, after loading a construction, part or even all parts of the task were solved correctly, at least one up event had to happen on the board so that the fields of formulas were updated. This now happens automatically.

Have fun with the new version!
