Din't try to run your code, just compared PDF and HTML outputs. Tables are labled as "Figure x.x" and have the shared numbering with Figures. This is wrong, they should be labled as "Tables". Also, didn't check your LaTeX output, but keep in mind that cases where you have to specify exact float placement in LaTeX happen more often then one could expect.
I like having tables inside figure environments instead of having a separate list of tables, but I know some people will disagree. You can use a regular table instead of the figtable extension. At the least, I need to add an example.

The above fixes the latex output. Not sure if people will also want a separate table numbering for HTML output too. If someone wants it, reopen this ticket or comment on it.
