MTBindingSim is a program to plot binding curves under various conditions, particularly those encountered in microtubule binding or other polymer binding situations.

NEWS: An article discussing the basics of MTBindingSim is published in the journal Bioinformatics. Download a preprint or visit the journal's website! You may cite MTBindingSim as: Philip, J.T., Pence, C.H. & Goodson, H.V. 2012. "MTBindingSim: Simulate Protein Binding to Microtubules." Bioinformatics 28(3):441-443.

Our current release is version 0.13, a beta released on November 4, 2011. (A patch release for Windows only, 0.13.1, was released February 14, 2012.) To download and install MTBindingSim, visit the home page.

Available from the list at the right-hand side is an online version of the MTBindingSim PDF documentation book. While every effort has been made to ensure that this version of the manual works just like the PDF version, the PDF version is considered authoritative, and can be found on our home page.

If you would like to keep track of new versions of MTBindingSim as they're released, we encourage you to sign up for our (low-volume) announcements mailing list.

Finally, MTBindingSim is under active development. If something doesn't work right for you, or you'd like to see a new feature, you're encouraged to submit an issue.
