The spacy docs have an awesome feature where they have a "things to try" pop-out to the side of their interactive prompts:

I wonder if there's a way that we could build this in to jupyter-book. One thought is that we could add a piece of cell metadata that would change the class of a markdown cell and make it render to the side (or as a pop-up so that it doesn't interfere with the side TOC?)
