Size of output cell in scroll mode

Hello,

I was wondering, if there is a way to increase the height of the output cells inside Jupyterlab-notebooks, when in scroll mode.

Sometimes I have many large plots, which makes it necessary to enable scroll output. But unfortunately the cell is then so small, that the plot is barely visible.

I would very much appreciate a way of changing the height of the output cell.

1. Move the pointer onto the output cell, and then click the right button of a mouse to show the context menu.
2. Select [Disable Scrolling for Outputs]

I have the same question. I'm afraid the answer from @s1230038 is not the answer that we are looking for.
By default Jupyter Lab behavior is disable scrolling for output, so we already know about enabling and disabling scrolling.

The question is, how to setting [Enable Scrolling for Outputs] to be bigger since the current scrolling windows are too tiny for some cases.

Like you would change the width of your Jupyter notebook (cf. here), you can edit the HTML code of your notebook:

It works in classic jupyter notebook only.

JupyterLab 4.0 will include a handle to resize the output in scroll mode, see #12740.

I will keep this issue open and re-title it to focus on adding a setting for default height.
