iCard-Resume

iCard-Resume is a theme built on top of bootstrap and other freely available libraries. Its aimed to provide a fully furnished Jekyll theme for personal resume.

I forked this from ddbullfrog's original resume app.. My fork changes the way skills are displayed from a progress bar style to blocks with hover info, and some other minor changes. I also rewrote the cards to adhere to better Jekyll style; each card is its own "post" containing the relevant info, rather than shoving all of the information into the config file.

Desktop running on GitHub Pages.

Getting Started

  • Fork this repository
  • Clone it: git clone https://github.com/YOUR-USER/justinplasmeier.github.io
  • Run the jekyll server: jekyll serve

You should have a server up and running locally at http://localhost:4000.

Features

  • Responsive Jekyll theme
  • Easy integration with Google Analytics

Configuration

  • _config.yml
  • CNAME If you're using this on GitHub Pages with a custom domain name, you'll want to change this to be the domain you're going to use. All that should be in here is a domain name on the first line and nothing else (like: example.com).
  • avatar.JPG This is a smaller version of my gravatar for use as the icon in your browser's address bar. You should change it to whatever you'd like.
