Fix build failure due to missing README file. The build process fails because Makefile.am includes README as part of the documentation files, but actually it doesn't exist: make: *** No rule to make target `README', needed by `all-am'. Stop. The right file is README.md, so making that replacement to Makefile.am fixes the problem.
just compile as BSD source. works with (e)glibc and uClibc (apart from real BSDs), so this should be good.
just because linux apparently does not support a timeout does not mean that we should pass a value that would result in a livelock if it did.
they are not even needed. if they were, autoreconf -i would create them just fine.
Use automake rather than hand-tailor a Makefile.in that has a few mistakes in it. Make it possible to disable knockd at ./configure time. Fail if knockd is to be built and libpcap is not found. Remove all checks that were not used. Ignore extra files.
…irective, enabling knockd to react to connect attempts to a target host. Useful in cases where knockd is on a router and you want to send a target a wakup packet.
