Multiple rooms, map editor

  • doors can now lead to new rooms
  • new format for storing room "maps" as collections of strings
  • updated README instructions for world generation and map editing
  • Known bug: cake no longer nutritious :-(
  • fewer dependencies
  • rooms can be "slept" and "woken"

Expanded, narrated, continuous test adventuring for all

  • no more "dancing" (bugfix, but will maybe come back as a feature?)
  • test adventure is now accessible/runnable at
  • test adventure is now narrated and slightly expanded
  • items can become embedded in walls... (known bug)

Carrying things & test adventures

  • you can now carry Tools, which are a type of Item
  • picking up one Tool makes you drop any Tool you're holding
  • Pxlqst now has a test suite, aka test adventure, which leads the tester on an adventure through the dungeons. To run this test adventure, see the Readme
  • blood is spattered randomly around when you Sword an Enemy; this is a bug, but someday it won't be
