DESCRIPTION

This library provides (String|IO|ARGF|StringIO)#each_section and same method #sections .

What's #each_section ?

In short, #each_line with Regular Expression separator.

SYNOPSIS

  • setup

    require 'each_section'
  • basic

    string.each_section /regexp/i do |section|
      do_something section
    end
  • enumerator

    enumerator = string.sections /regexp/i

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1.9.3

  • 1.9.2

  • 1.8.7 ( but, this library defines Object#require_relative for compatibility )

INSTALL

  • sudo gem install each_section
