DustJS seems so unmaintained and the markup seems unnecessary complicated.

Isn't it better to base Kanso on a more well-maintained template engine that is future proof, simple and mainstream eg. ejs?

Hi,

For questions like these, it'd be best to start a thread on the mailing list rather than open an issue.

Thanks so much,

Dave

@maxogden

Or better yet, fork the repo and let your commits do the talkin' :)

@browndav: Yeah sorry for that.
@maxogden: Great point. But not everyone is commiters, yet. Always good to understand the decisions behind a project by asking.

Hi johnnywengluu,

No problem or worries. Thanks for your interest. We'd be happy to talk about this on the Google groups site; Caolan can probably explain the reasons behind this decision better than I can.

I'm sorry, you did not get the idea - it's a feature request to make kanso work with a template engine of choice.
