Karl, could you add markup for the own opinion?
For example: Chapter 3, Ordering. Opinion is good, and it should be highlighted.
Another one is: Chapter 6, A Mix of Theory and Practice where ".NET and Java developers can think..."
templates are not good examples. To understand them you need to know what is it. So, I think this part should have different design.

p.s. book is damn good.
p.p.s. is it possible to replace "by Karl Seguin" to "Author: Karl Seguin"?

I've pulled your commit, but I'm not sure about the other suggestions.

1 - Why highlight my opinion? I'm not writing a reference document...I'd like to think that the whole book is more or less my opinion.

2 - If you know Java or .NET (or generics in any other language), I think showing the data structures helps. If you don't, I agree that it might be a little confusing. However, you can just skip over that sentence and not suffer too much because of it. I do agree that the intermediary model is super-important, so I'll see if I can further expand on it in a language-agnostic manner.

3 - What benefit does changing the image to Author: Karl Seguin, have?

  1. Karl, your book is good. And it'll be perfect if you try to position it as a standalone book for the mongodb, and not as your own opinion about it. In that case author's remarks will be highlighted.

  2. If part can be skipped, it should has different design too.

  3. My native language isn't English, so, title looks like: there is some "the-little-mongodb-book"s and this one is the Karl Seguin interpretation. It's not important, just point of view.
