rstatix currently supports Cohen's d, but it will be nice to have a similar function for Hedge's g, which is much more preferable from meta-analysis perspective

Thanks, would you also consider supporting non-central t-distribution for computing confidence intervals for both Cohen's d and Hedge's g?

There is one example of instantiation of this here:

It has been argued that we should default to non-central CIs:

In the current version the bootstrap confidence interval is supported
