The current version of ggsurvplot() plots confidence bands using the default geom_ribbon() like this:

ggsurvplot-ribbon

Confidence bands should be plotted as stepped ribbons, like this:

rplot05

A new .geom_confint() should be created to handle this issue.

It works now. Confidence intervals are plotted as stepped ribbon to follow the steps in KM curves.
