Commands for daily use of guard.
You need to have a rails app set up to use guard.
The current implementation works only with rspec results.
You have 3 options for installing GuardHelpers Plugin: using Package Control, using Git, or just downloading it.
Inside Sublime Text 2, open your command pallete (⌘ + ⇧ + P on OS X), and select "Package Control: Install Package".
After this, search for "GuardHelpers" and install it!
Open your terminal application and go to your Packages directory, whose location depends on your operating system:
-
OS X
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Sublime\ Text\ 2/Packages
-
Linux
cd ~/.Sublime\ Text 2/Packages/
-
Windows
cd %APPDATA%/Sublime Text 2/Packages/
After this, you just need to clone this repository:
git clone git://github.com/kassi/sublime-text-2-guard-helpers.git GuardHelpersClick on the nice cloud icon above and download the zip file containing this plugin.
Then unzip the file and move the resulting folder to your Packages directory.
After your guard running rspec specs encountered a failing spec, run the command Guard: Open Failing Tests from your command pallete (⌘ + ⇧ + P on OS X).
Select the failure from the list.
- Fork it
- Create your feature branch (
git checkout -b my-new-feature) - Commit your changes (
git commit -am 'Add some feature') - Push to the branch (
git push origin my-new-feature) - Create new Pull Request
