On one server, that is not different than several others running logrotate, we will occasionally see the logrotate process use 100%+ of the CPU. It starts doing this "randomly" after some relatively short (hours or days) period since it was started. The only way to stop it is to reload the logrotate process.
I'm not sure how to diagnose what's happening. Any suggestions?
