Introduction
KSPSBC allows you to play Kerbal Space Program with a Steel Battalion controller. It uses the steel-batallion-64 driver wrapper by hacknfly. A small KSP mod is provided to generate live state information.
Features
- Different button layouts for flying, EVAs, and ship construction. Completely replaces the keyboard! Use the gear shift lever to manually change between modes. Or shift into high gear to enable...
- Automatic state change detection. Install the KSPSBC mod, shift into 5th gear, and the controller will dynamically configure itself. Automatically change between flight/EVA/ship editor modes! Buttons light up to match the state of the active ship!
- Toggles to lock steering and thrust. Are you worried about accidentally nudging the thrust lever, sending your Kerbals plummeting back into atmo? Use toggle switches to turn off the sticks and pedals!
- Joystick input warning lights. The Steel Battalion control is finnicky, and the aiming level doesn't return to neutral. Are you just trimming yaw, or are you pitching forward too? Convenient warning lights will tell you when the sticks and pedals leave the deadzone!
- Automatic deadzone detection. The controller software reads your KSP settings and figures out your personal deadzone settings. No manual configuration needed!
- Swap yaw & roll inputs with the flip of a switch. Yaw with rockets! Roll with airplanes!
- Alternate function keys. Hold down the function shift key to access alternate key bindings!
- Random flashing lights. For total immersion!
Compatibility
- Requires a Steel Battalion controller (derp) and a 3-foot or shorter female Xbox to male USB cable.
- Requires Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 8.1 64-bit for the driver wrapper.
- Mod compatibility? No earthly idea. Runs well in stock KSP.
