Ability to jump to existing buffer even when specifying Ctrl-v (vert split) #268

Similar to how Ctrl-t will open a file in a new tab or jump to the existing tab, it would be great if Ctrl-v opened the file in a new vertical split, or jumped to the existing file (of course it would be great to have control over this).

Added. You can check :help g:ctrlp_switch_buffer for details.

This is really awesome. Thanks!

This is the best! Is there any way you can point me to the logic that "jumps to existing window"? I think that should be made into a reusable mini-plugin. So many other vim plugins lack this capability and if you've already written the mundane logic, may as well save others the trouble, right?
