MRU mode does not respect ctrlp_working_path_mode #577

If I'm using two instances of vim to work on two projects, side by side, the MRU mode does not respect the rules defined by ctrlp_working_path_mode = 'r'. I have .git markers at the root of each project and the File mode works as expected. But I default my config to MRU and it shows the combined MRU list in each instance that I'm running.

Is there a way to get the MRU mode to respect the the working path mode r

I understand somepeople might prefer the MRU to be global, so a config that allows us to override that and tell it to filter down to the working directory would be great.

I’m running into the same problem… I typically open two instances specifically to work in separate workspaces (often e.g. different branches of the same project), so it’s rather suboptimal—and very error-prone—to see files from both instances pop up.

ctrlp already contains a solution for this.

let g:ctrlp_mruf_relative = 1

will only show MRU files relative to the current working directory.
