Tether designer for kites

Based on the method described in appendix A of F. Bauer, R. M. Kennel: “Fault Tolerant Power Electronic System for Drag Power Kites”. Submitted to “Journal of Renewable Energy” (Hindawi), 2017. PREPRINT Bauer research (link to a PREPRINT PDF)

We though it would be worthwile to publish a implimentation of the algorithm combined with a visualisation.

install & use

  1. install node js and npm from https://nodejs.org/en/
  2. run git clone git@github.com:kitextech/tetherDesigner.git
  3. run cd tetherDesigner
  4. run npm install
  5. run gulp
  6. open docs/index.html
