ATM Bug model is not normalized. It can happen to have duplicated bug_id for different case runs. It makes report like "show all the bugs" a bit more complicated because one will need to check for duplicates.

It makes sense to perform DB normalization and separate current testcases.Bug to several models:

  • Bug, which contain bug id and bug system
  • N:N relation between Bug and TestCaseRun

Thus, the code will be cleaner and the logic will be much more transparent

Also, looks like summary, description fields are not being user and case field is excessive (can be retrieved from case_run)

tracking bugs will be performed linking to their URLs instead of
keeping a reference to their ID and trying to construct the URL
on the fly.
