Hello,

As I've discussed on the Q&A (http://twinery.org/questions/26912/working-on-a-story-across-multiple-devices) I created a story using the downloaded software on one machine (Windows 10). I then put the Twine folder found in the Documents folder onto One Drive and accessed that on another machine (also Windows 10, downloaded software).

I was able to import the file and make changes to it, but having come back to it today the changes did not actually save. There is no message or warning that this happens, it appears that changes are being made but they are not. I assume that this is a bug so I wanted to raise it.

Thanks

Actually after some more testing it appears that there is a problem with the software on my second laptop. It won't save anything at all. Having a look it creates a file in a folder within Temp, but as soon as you exit the software it destroys it.

I can't seem to find some way of changing this but forgive me if I'm being dumb.

Tried the age old uninstall and reinstall and reboot and that has not made a difference.

When you say it creates a folder inside Temp, could you specify the full folder path?

It sounds like for some reason it is getting confused about where your account's documents folder is.

This looks like a bug with Twine 2.3 or earlier, and because of that I'm closing it. Please re-open or create a new issue if you find this is still a problem in 2.4.
