Reported by Squishy on Discord, for v.2.3.2, both downloadable and online:

I was able to reproduce this in other browsers. It also seemed to do the open-once-only thing as seen in issue #549.

Hi!

I'm also unable to open a proofing copy (using online version 2.3.2), when I click "View proofing copy" in safari Twine opens a new tab and goes to http://twinery.org/2/#!/stories and in Chrome the screen is reloaded and the console shows:

Gwen on Discord tested some older versions and said they were fine:

{𝕲𝖜𝖊𝖓[𝕿𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖈]}: i think that with the proof reading feature might be a bug with the 2.3.2 version it doesn't work in that version for me either, but it works in 2.3.1 and in 2.2.1 tho.

Confirmed that this an issue with 2.3.2, and seems to be a problem regardless of whether you're using the builtin Paperthin or something else.

Any news in this regard? The situation leads to being unable to open the proofing copy when you use the web version.

This is slated to be fixed in 2.3.3, but I haven’t had time to work on this so far. A PR would be welcome.
