"We know irc is all about telling your users the same things over and over again." Whilst this may be true in some contexts (support channels mostly, IMO) I'm not sure it's the best thing to include on homepage :P

Perhaps you could soften this somewhat by talking about frequently asked questions/specifically mentioning support channels

The feature text was changed to remove the placeholders in 7cec24c but may be improved upon. It's really just to get the deployment kickstarted.

I also suggest removing the about-the-project block. I'm not sure if there's anything useful we can put there that we can't do in a separate row of features.
