First of all congratulations for the awesome job, Kitty is everything that I always wanted out of a terminal, it is truly one of a kind!

Tilix and Gnome Terminal (so I guess it is a VTE thing?) allows you to remap ctrl+c to copy and when you do so they smartly handle it as a copy only when you have something selected, otherwise it is handled normally as an interrupt. Effectively allowing us to use the same shortcut for both operations which is super handy.

Would it be feasible to implement that behavior on kitty?
