Perhaps this is not strictly a bug, but it is at least an unexpected change in behavior from 0.24 to 0.25.
Previously (in kitty 0.24) the remote host's ~/.profile would be executed using kitty +kitten ssh, just as it is from a standard (i.e. non-kitty) ssh login. My understanding is that this is supposed to be executed for bash login shells, which I would think includes the SSH kitten login.
While I could presumably work around this by editing ~/.bashrc manually to ensure that the necessary setup is run, in this case the profile changes are handled by an installer and it would obviously be preferable to have this handled automatically.
