In Emacs Ctrl+Alt+Space is a rather often used combination for mark-sexp. Unfortunately, kitty doesn't send anything at all for that combination.
mark-sexp
VTE-based programs (e.g. terminator) and konsole send ^[^@ (according to cat).

I've tested this with kitty 0.10.0 at c5da1c0.
