Formats don't seem to be working, I'm trying to get rid of the channel name (I only want one channel) and no matter if I use the global format or the group-specific format option in config.yml it doesn't seem to have any effect.

This is with build #201 btw.

Channel is specified with %t now, not %c. I felt like having a separate variable for channels was ambiguous and pointless.

Can I get a copy of your config.yml if this does not solve the problem?

Xavura commented Mar 26, 2012

What I meant was no matter what I specify for the format, it is completely ignored and the default is used. My config.yml is basically the same as the shipped version except for the format change but I shall post it anyway.

The default was something like [Multiverse World] [Channel] [Group] or some such.

Sorry, the default seems to actually be "[%world][%channel] [%prefix] %username" and no matter what I do I can't seem to get it to change from that.

config.yml - https://gist.github.com/53522f07be9f2a279a6b

/version - git-Bukkit-1.2.3-R0.2-48-g6e88da6-b2090jnks (MC: 1.2.3) (Implementing API version 1.2.3-R0.3-SNAPSHOT)

/plugins - WorldEdit, DisguiseCraft, CommandBook, Backup, Vault, Multiverse-Core, PermissionsEx, GiftSend, ForeverALoad, LWC, MobileAdmin, ecoCreature, ChatSuite, Multiverse-Portals, BOSEconomy, ShowCaseStandalone

Owner

In Multiverse-Core, set prefixchat: false

I have no idea what ShowCaseStandalone is, but make sure it's not doing anything with chat, and make sure Vault isn't messing with chat either. I can't replicate the problem, it works fine on my test server.
