Travelog Theme

Travelog is a theme for Jekyll that is both elegant and downright simple.

In addition to being devilishly handsome, it is responsive down to mobile and has a very light footprint. Travelog lends itself well to photography and travel journaling.

It has been designed to be an easy layout to modify for your own blog. See the installation instructions below to get started.

Demo

See the theme in action here.

Installation

  • Install Jekyll: gem install jekyll
  • Fork this repository
  • Clone it: git clone https://github.com/YOUR-USER/travelog-theme
  • Run the jekyll server: jekyll serve -w

You should have a server up and running locally at http://localhost:4000.

Customization

To customize the theme to your hearts content, check out what's in _config.yml as that's where you'll pull your name, Twitter username, things like that.

Deployment

Travelog is designed to be deployed to GitHub Pages.
