[RFC] can we add CDN or mirror for sandbox images download? Or provided full images for offline install #50568

Download images from gcr.io very slow. can we add CDN/mirrors for kubernetes( I am using kubeadm)

Or can we release a full images tar.gz for offline download (install)

it take lot's time to waiting the download progress finish, and the kubeadm stuck . no response. always waiting. but user do not know what happened

I've been experiencing a related issue, which is that gcr.io throttles our pulls of gcr.io/google_containers/pause-amd64:3.0 with a Quota Exceeded error. Presumably this is because our Kube cluster is in Azure and therefore NAT'ing causes our requests to come from the same IP addresses as many other customers
