## Hello! 👋

My name is Kasia Kedzierska. I recently finished my PhD in Genomic Medicine and Statistics at the University of Oxford. I work at the intersection of deep learning and computational biology, and I'm interested in building useful models to help us understand biology and improve healthcare. I'm really fascinated by how machine learning can change the way we approach biological questions—especially when it helps us get a better grasp of what's going on beneath the surface.

#### About my name

Actually, my full name is Katarzyna Kedzierska, or Katarzyna Zofia Kedzierska (including my middle name). In Polish, we usually have a shorter version of a name that we go by and reserve the full legal name (here: Katarzyna) for official occasions, or when we get in trouble with our parents.
