In Windows IASN Larceny, I call (exit 3) but the shell just gets back 0.

(lots of things about windows Larceny are weird under Cygwin; especially under a cmd.exe hosted atop Cygwin...)

It's not just a Cygwin problem, but an exit problem:

(system "larceny -- -e \"(exit 1)\"")

returns 0.

Punting nonetheless.
