Do you use ABAPGit at your company? I'd like to add a list of real-world users, but I don't want it to start with a single company. If you are using ABAPGit in your ABAP development process and it's OK with you to have your company listed in the ABAPGit project, can you chime in here and once we have 5-10 users I'll submit a pull request?

Yep, Discovery Consulting do use ABAPgit, although only for Fiori development,
Several of our clients, have therefore been introduced to it.

Count Yelcho Systems Consulting in ( that’s me ) and these other customers of mine - Sword Holdings and Inchcape Australia. I also have 2 other customers that wouldn’t want to be named that use it too.

My own company Computerservice Wolf used it at several not to be named customers. Used it to install abap2xlsx, doing backup of developments (also scheduled into abapGitServer) and getting the great OData Example from @grahamrobbo and the SAP Fiori Elements and Overview Page Demo from @jasper07.

At emineo we use abapGit online repositories for product development. Other scenarios are offline repositories for custom development and migration projects. Details see here (german).

We are using ABAPGit for our ABAP SDK for Azure. So far it has been used at a few customers and in quite a few codejams.

I have mostly been in the UI5 fiori world for several years and have preaching git there until it was built into webide. (unfortunately one client was still using SVN but source control at least ) Recently I have a little more say in Architecture and will be doing an ABAPGit poc for people in the abap stack with of course abapgit.

We use abapGit at CQSE for development - not yet the full online experience with feature branches etc., but we are moving towards such a development model.

I use ABAPGit most of the time for my opensource solutions. Talking about clients, adoption here in Brazil is still a bit slow, but I've already implemented it along with ABAPLint and ABAPOpenChecks

My company (percept ltd) is using ABAPGit for ABAP developments for its customers.
A use case is mostly backup of coding and also deploying developed ABAP objects to SAP systems.

We use abapGit for development of S/4HANA apps at SAP Labs Czech Republic. abapGit + GitHub + Jenkins + Docker + OpenStack + Terraform + Chef moved our processes to the 21st century. Thanks god (@larshp) for abapGit!

@TimoJohn use abapGitServer? This is of cause not a off site/system backup, but you will get the visibility as to what is happening in the system.

Closing this issue, list can be edited via pull requests, https://docs.abapgit.org/other-where-used.html
