Operating system

  • Windows

Application

  • Desktop (1.0.107)
  • Firefox Web Clipper (1.0.6)

I started testing Joplin's web clipper out, and I noticed that it seems to strip some of the content from the url. For example, if I go to this url

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15815040

and clip it, it will look like this in the note metadata:

The source_url gets changed to https://news.ycombinator.com/item which is everything before the ? and pretty useless by itself. I would expect the full url to get saved.
