This issue seems important and https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73482979/how-to-keep-the-application-running-in-background-react-native provides a list of solutions for how to run the background task properly on Android in ReactNative. |

Expected behaviour
Re-opening #727.
In Android, closing the application or putting the device to sleep stops synchronization.
This makes it necessary to keep Joplin open on the device for an extended period of time when performing the first sync after changing the device.
There is a risk of burn-in on the OLED display.
