  • Please do not ask to have an issue assigned to you - we do not do this. If you are interested in an issue, work on it. You also don't need to tell us you started working on it. Once you have something working, then you can start discussing the issue. This is not a race - for the purpose of GSoC, even if two developers work on the same issue (it's very unlikely anyway), we will still look at the quality of your contribution and whether it means you can progress to the next stage.

  • Please do not @-mention any admin or moderator. We will see your message in any case and all you are doing is sending unnecessary notifications. If you @-mention someone you might actually annoy them and have less chances to get an answer.

GSoC contributor applications have now been submitted and we will submit the selected ones to Google on 24 April.
