Hello, I am trying to do this, but I need the samaccountname of the user in 1 column and the samaccountname of the manager in the 2nd column, that is all I need. Can you help me? I need this for all ad users that have an email account

Hello. I am successfully using this script (thanks!). However, I would like to only return users who are enabled in our Active Directory. Tips for modifying your script for this? Thanks!

You could simply do.. Get-ADDirectReports -Identity <samaccountname> | Where-Object {$PSItem.Enabled}

IF you're not sure who a persons MGR is supposed to be. Is there a way to Filter Get-ADUser..? Similar to this -- Get-ADUser -Filter 'directReports -match "CN=tbolton"' -Properties * | FL ..?

Reason I'm asking is NO the Manager field & the EmployeeID is not populated for 90% of the users. I can see DirectReports of the known Manager, but in some cases that info is incorrect and I cannot tell who the persons assigned MGR is...

Hi All, I am trying to run this script and I keep getting the error message
The "=" operator is missing after a named argument.
At C:\Get-ADDirectReport.ps1:51 char:24
+ [Parameter(Mandatory) <<<< ]
+ CategoryInfo : ParserError: (:) [], ParseExceptio
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : MissingEqualsInNamedArgument
This is if I try and load it using the . . or running it directly
I am using this example below Get-ADDirectReports -Identity <samaccountname> | Where-Object {$PSItem.Enabled} but would like to use the csv export that I have seen on another blog, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you are using PowerShell v2 ?
Try to replace [Parameter(Mandatory) by [Parameter(Mandatory=$true)

I think this should do it.
