Hi I searched the net for a tinyxml2 benchmark.
Only the original version crops up. So I cant compare it to pugi etc.
Has anyone got a benchmark for the latest tinyxml2?

I'm just looking for some indication of speed for a game I'm making

I'm curious to see how it ranks, as well. The primary design point of TinyXML-2 isn't performance - it's reduction of memory churn and reduced memory use - but the performance is much better.

But as a design point, I want performance to be "good enough" for mobile game usage. It's made a huge difference for Xenowar, as a real example. (Sometime soon I'll push the Android compilation fixes, btw. Android still primarily uses the old-style headers.) I do suggest that if you are actually bottlenecked in XML parsing, XML is probably the wrong tool for the job.
