This is the first feature update of the 2026 release series. Details are in the release notes. Highlights:

  • New pipeline tooling for expanding a configuration file into a full configuration (lenskit pipeline expand) and generating a Mermaid diagram for a pipeline (lenskit pipeline diagram).
  • Restored Pandas 2.2 support for better Google Colab compatibility.
  • Fixed a few small bugs.
  • Better progress and cancellation for Rust-accelerated training tasks.
