jslint.vim
=============
VIM plugin and command line tool for running JSLint <http://jslint.com/>.
JSLint is a handy tool that spots errors and common mistakes in
javascript code.
This is alpha software and is under heavy development.
Installation and Use
-----------------------
- install the Spidermonkey standalone javascript interpreter
$ sudo apt-get install sipdermonkey-bin
- copy fulljslint.js, runjslint.js, and jslint.vim into your working
directory
- in vim, run the following command:
:source jslint.vim
- Press <F5> to check any javascript file that you are working on
for problems. Problems will be highlighted in red. Press <F5> again
once the problems are corrected for an update.
- To get a detailed report of any issues in your javascript file,
run jslint from a terminal using Spidermonkey with this command:
$ js runjslint.js < <yourfile>
