  2. T::B is used to running one level down. Have to raise the level else it

    has problems finding its caller.
    schwern committed Nov 11, 2002
  3. Got the logic wrong. We don't want to skip the test if threads aren't

    configured, just load threads.
    schwern committed Nov 11, 2002
  4. - David Hand noted that Test::Builder/More exit code behavior was

          not documented.  Only Test::Simple.

  5. * Alex Francis added reset() reset the state of Test::Builder in

          persistent environments.
    schwern committed Nov 11, 2002
  6. * Test::Builder/More no longer automatically loads threads.pm

          when threads are enabled. The user must now do this manually.

    Adjusted tests for the new threads behaviors.

  7. * Test::Builder/More no longer automatically loads threads.pm

          when threads are enabled. The user must now do this manually.

    Also adapted the fixed disabled share() from bleadperl's threads::shared
    so it works as documented. Removes some messy code.

  8. * Test::Builder/More no longer automatically loads threads.pm

          when threads are enabled. The user must now do this manually.

    Added a warning for users of thread-enabled >= 5.8.0 perls upgrading.

  1. Upping version numbers.

    schwern committed Nov 10, 2002
  2. * Test::Harness upgrade no longer optional. It was causing too

          many problems when the T::H upgrade didn't work.
    schwern committed Nov 10, 2002
  3. This test doesn't require a Test::Harness upgrade. The no_plan output

    is trapped and checked independently.
    schwern committed Nov 10, 2002
  4. Adding skip description.

    schwern committed Nov 10, 2002
  5. No longer requiring File::Spec, its just for testing.

    Adding 5.4.5 to the list of perls to test against.

    We don't require -Ilib to test old perls, its a holdover from when I copied
    the code from MakeMaker's Makefile.PL.
    schwern committed Nov 10, 2002
  6. Noting Nick's needs for a better way to analyze the pass/fail inside

    the test program itself.

  1. Changes so far.

    schwern committed Oct 15, 2002
  2. Changes to use_ok() to actually use use() altered the error slightly

    to include a "BEGIN failed" line. I left it in and hacked the file and
    line number appropriately.
    schwern committed Oct 15, 2002
  3. Documenting how use_ok() can be used to check version numbers.

    Fixed use_ok() when checking version numbers on non-Exporter based modules.

    Mentioning Test::Class in the SEE ALSO.
    schwern committed Oct 15, 2002
  4. Fixed a minor 5.4.0 quoting warning.

    Yes, another 5.8.0 ithreads problem with auto-extended arrays.
    schwern committed Oct 15, 2002
  5. Older perls now use t/lib so we can find the new Test::Harness when

    testing. I'm going to make the T::H upgrade non-optional shortly.

  1. * Test::Builder is once again ithread safe.

    If the fixes look funny it's all working around 5.8.0 ithread bugs.
    schwern committed Aug 26, 2002
  2. We changed the level earlier on for the test since we're using the T::B

    object directly so it had to be set back so Test::More functions produce
    correct diagnostics.

  2. Adding fork test.

    schwern committed Aug 25, 2002
  3. * Tatsuhiko Miyagawa noticed Test::Builder was accidentally storing

          objects passed into test functions causing problems with tests
          relying on object destruction.
